My inspiration comes out of a wide variety of cultural influences such as Krumping, Hip-Hop, Dancehall, Ragga, African Dance and Contemporary.

Through dance and choreography, my aim is to inspire others by sharing passion, energy, creativity, freedom and madness.

Regarding choreography, I’m usually working from feelings, emotions and create atmospheres. Different dance styles are incorporated. A Contemporary and African flavour is always present, but my pieces have their foundations in Hip-Hop. I’ve mostly been choreographing pieces for theatre pieces, where my love of this work truly lies.

I’m very involved in dance styles emerging from an urban culture or/and having ethnic roots.

Krumping and Hip-Hop are urban dance styles, they allow the expression of feelings (happiness, anger, etc.) through the body language. Dancing has also a social function (belonging to a group, a family, a culture). This form of expression also highlights social issues, it is an answer to the environment artists live in. Urban dance styles give a general view of society and are used as a vehicle for self-expression. Dancing is there to share deep feelings, to highlight some aspects of life or to reconsider society. African Dance has a role in the cycles of life and allows human beings to go through life, from childhood to adulthood, from a single status to a married status, from life to death, etc.

Dance is to me a real art of expression, a way to inspire an audience, a way to “say”…….

Supervising, Organisation and Coordination regarding Dance Projects, Events or Dance teams: the role included the supervision of the rehearsal program, coordination of the logistic (sound, costumes, etc.), organisation or assistance to the organisation of workshops, trips with teenagers, etc.

I’ve a lot of experience with teenagers and youth dance teams. I’ve also been in charge of professional dance projects.
